brain tumour. He has been sick for a year intermittently, having
gone through two operations and rounds of chemotherapy. He has a
Not for Resuscitation Order (NFR). David has agreed to the NFR
order but his parents say that they are not ready to accept that he
is dying and that a miracle might occur to cure the cancer. What
are the mediation/ negotiation tasks to manage such situations?

Negotiation or Mediation tasks to manage the situation :
* Nurse should educate clearly to the parents regarding David condition.
* It is an end stage, there is no chance to recover after providing complete care to the client.
* Educate to the parents there is no use by giving Cardiopulmonary resuscitation if needed also.
* It is burdone only to the client and we are struggling the client like that we need to educate.
* Palliative care should be explained to the patients that is complete care providing to the client with out harming the client up to ending of the life.
* Explain all ethical principles like, beneficence, non malificence.
* like this nurse should educate the parents regarding client condition and care.
