ANSWER.

ICD-10-CM codes(International classification of diseases,10th revision,clinical modification)

   * ICD-10-CM codes are diagnosis codes used to represent disease condition

     of a patient during the medical coding process.

* ICD-10-CM codes are alphanumeric codes with maximum 7 character length.

       Eg ; E06.5 - (ICD-10-CM code for chronic fibrous thyroiditis)

CPT codes (Current procedural terminology)

    * CPT codes represent procedures done for the patient during health care.

    * CPT codes are numeric (5 digit) codes.

    * CPT codes are under the category of HCPCS level l codes.

          Eg ; 32440 - pneumonectomy (surgical removal of lungs)

HCPCS codes (Healthcare common procedures coding system).

   * HCPCS codes are divided into two levels.

           * HCPCS level l includes CPT codes.

           * HCPCS level ll includes alphanumeric codes for medical equipments,supplies,

              procedures not included in CPT codes etc.

                  Eg ; V2500 - Contact lens,PMMA,spherical per lens (HCPCS level ll code).
