The term “Dietary Reference Intakes (DRI)” refers to the quantities of these nutrients required for appropriate functioning of the body. So, one can calculate the number of carbs and fats to be consumed based on the DRI values.
The term “Daily Value (DV)” is a standard value used in the labeling of nutritional products. Regarding the essential nutrients such as “protein, vitamins, and minerals,” the DVs indicate the highest 1968 RDA standard for people of all ages and gender, except the pregnant and lactating women.
