Answer #1

ANSWER.

* Calculation of how long (Time) will it take to infuse the IV.

       Formula

          Flow rate(ml/hr) = Volume(ml) /Time(hr).

   So

          Time(hr) = Volume(ml) / Flow rate(ml/hr)

                 Here

                    Flow rate(ml/hr) = 40 ml/hr.

                    Volume(ml) = 500 ml.

As per above formula

              Time(hr) = 500 / 40

                              = 12.5

                              = 12 hour 30 minutes.
