STEPS FOR DRAWING UP MEDICATION FROM VIAL;

Hand should be hygiene and clean,wear gloves

1. first step to remove cover from the vial
2. Next step you want to clean the vial top with alcohol or spirit and then let it dry for a few seconds.
3. ​​​​​​third step, you want to open your syringe package and attach the blunt fill needle tip to the syringe
4. fourth step is to draw air into the syringe,the volume of air should equal the volume of ordered medication.
5. Fifth step is to inject that air into the vial, after injecting the air into the vial,you can invert the vial and withdraw the medication to the desired dose.
6. Then remove the needle and syringe from the vial,expel the air and check your desired dose.
7. You can scoop the needle cap into place and remove the blunt film needle from the syringe.
8. Finally you are going to place the needle on the syringe ,finally it used for the patient intramuscular injection.
