There are four categories of health issues. They are

1. Deficiency

2. Degenerative

3. Infectious

4. Non infectious

Each of them are important because they have its own impact equally life-threatening.

Eg.

Deficiency diseases like scurvy and Rickets can permanently result in irreversible damage to body systems.

Degenerative diseases eg. Alzheimer's and Parkinson changes the entire activity of the individual including self harming.

Infectious diseases eg. Meningitis and Non Infectious diseases eg. Stroke or heart attack can cause sudden death.

1 This leads to quality of living and thus the national progress.

2. Productivity of a nation is affected when workforce are affected.

3. Infectious diseases affect a major fraction of a population of not treated.

4. Economic slowdown happens when workforce is reduced.

5. The total standard of a nation drops.

6. The average life expectancy is knocked down.
