Answer #1

Answer: When critically appraising quantitative studies, it is necessary to assess some of the factors such as:

  • Validity: Validity inudes the design as well as the collection of the information that is authentic and can be used in the study.
  • Reliability: It includes the method that can produce the useful result. The most reliable the content, there will more chances of the proper results.
  • Applicability: It includes the information that can be adjusted and feasible in the research methods.

In the quantitative studies these factors are important but the most important is the validity. This is because the validity includes the methods, design as well as the implementation of the information in the research.
