Since the total carbohydrate consumption is 200g out of an 1800 calorie diet, we have to find the total calorie from the carbohydrate alone. Carbohydrates provide 4 calories per gram.

Total calories from 200g of carbohydrate=200*4

=800 calories

Total % of carbohydrate from the 1800 calorie diet is 800/1800*100=44.44%.
