similarity between risk management and quality management in the healthcare field is that when a patient is suffered due to medical error, then managers from both the teams take immediate action to identify the cause of that error.

difference between risk management and quality management team is that risk managers go in the depth of the issue to protect a patient from any future loss whereas quality management team conduct a parallel investigation that aims to formal process improvement and quality of the patient health care.
