Ans) Passive range of motion exercises are great for patients with hemiplegia, paralysis on one side of the body. With enough massed practice (or high repetition) of passive exercise, you can treat hemiplegia after stroke by rewiring the brain through neuroplasticity.
- Movement of the body, usually of the limbs, without effort by the patient. The patient is passive.
