Answer #1

4 a)

Q = Charge = 50 x 10-12 C

r = distance from the charge = 2 cm = 0.02 m

Electric potential by the Charge at distance "r" is given as

V = k Q/r

inserting the values

V = (9 x 109) ( 50 x 10-12)/(0.02)

V = 22.5 Volts

b)

Electric field by the Charge at distance "r" is given as

E = k Q/r2

inserting the values

E = (9 x 109) ( 50 x 10-12)/(0.02)2

E = 1125 N/C
