Eutectic point is defined as the point where all three phases which are 2 liquid phases and that of melt exist simulatenously and at this point the melting point of mixture is lower than that of constituent metals .

It is the lowest temperature at which the two liquids are miscible with each but not chemically reactive and it is the lowest temperature at which melt freezes.

So option b is correct
