1. There are ten plagues in Exodus. The number ten came from ten commandments.
2. Ten plagues are blood, frog, lice or gnats, flies, livestock, boils, hail, locusts, darkness, death of firstborn.
Blood: It is said that the water of river Nile will be turned into blood coloured with the blood of the water animals and the people will not be able to use the water.
Frog: It is said that there will be full with frogs. Even in the bedroom there will be the presence of frogs.
Lice and gnats: The God advised Moses to make Egypt full with the insects like lice and gnats. The dust will be full with them. People will be full with such insects.
Plague of flies: In Egypt the houses will be full with the swarm of flies. They will not be able to eat or drink for flies.
Plague of livestock: The livestock of Egypt will end for the disease and the Egyptians will not be able to use them.
Plague of boila: The Lord ordered Moses to spread a handful of ash so that Egyptian sky is full with white dust. It will cause pain to all men and beasts of Egypt.
Plague of hail: The plague of hail will destroy the agricultural land of Egypt.
Plague of locusts: It is said that during the escape of the Israelites there will be so thick locusts that even the people will not be able to see each other face.
Plague of darkness: The whole Egyptian land will be deprived of light. There will be thick darkness.
Plague of the firstborn: It is dictated that all the firstborn of Egypt will be dead. There will be great grief in the whole land.
3. Some Israelites thought that they will be caught and killed by the Egyptian army as there was no path to escape due to Red sea.
4. When the Egyptian army was crushed in the Red Sea the Israelites celebrated with the song of sea.
5. Moses freed Israelites from the bondage of Egypt. Then with the miracle power of Moses they crossed Red Sea and Moses led them at the foothill of Sainai. It is supposed to be the seat of God. There Moses gave the Israelites ten commandments.
6. According to the Hebrew bible salvation means the saving of the soul from the sin. It helps the soul for redemption.
7. In the ending Moses returns after forty days. He found them worshipping a golden calf. God is infuriated and decides to destroy them. Moses begs to God to show mercy. With the help of Moses they are saved and at last stopped worshipping idol.
8. With Joseph's bone Moses fulfilled the commitment when he left Egypt.
