1. Reasoning helps in validating our arguments and opinions, usually by backing it with logic. The fundamental difference between inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning is that inductive reasoning highlights the obvious conclusion while in deductive reasoning, one needs to deduce the conclusion. In inductive reasoning, the premise is aligned to the conclusion and supports it quite evidently. In deductive reasoning, one needs to analyze the premise so as to arrive at the valid conclusion. Deductive reasoning is purely based on facts while inductive reasoning can be based on perceptions. Deductive reasoning follows a top down approach, inductive reasoning follows a bottom up approach.
