Decision Support System which is known as DSS helps the users to analyze the information. After analyzing the information, it supports users to make business decisions whereas Business intelligence which is known as BI involves different types of technologies and applications for acquiring, storing, analyzing which helps to make robust and strong business decisions.

DCS helps the buyers to find out the errors which are existing inside the system and helps them to make business decisions in order to solve those errors. as well as to meet business objective whereas BI helps with automated analysis of data involving multiple packages.

DCS is more time processing whereas BI is less time processing due to its automation.

DCS applications are Sales order, supplies requirement etc, whereas BI applications are query reporting, analytical processing etc.
