Ques 1. Answer : column

An attribute is a property or a characteristic of a particular field. It represents the data which has the same property.

Also, in a spreadsheet, the same type of data is stord in the same column.

e.g: name is an attribute. We store the names of different people into same column.

Ques 2. Answer : (a) conceptual

They should first begin with a concept on what the requirements are and how it is to be modelled. So, first a conceptual model is build and then a relational model is build.

Que 3. Answer : (a) redundancy

Redundancy is the state in which there are multiple copies of same data. This is a big problem in database an a good database is one which has no redundancy at all. So, the states 1NF, 2NF, 3NF aim to reduce the redundancy.
