I did my summer internship at such a Sewerage project in India which was being constructed by LnT WET Company. I did prepare a report to submit in our college to get my credits. I am attaching the screenshot of my report. You can take reference from it and prepare your own. Let me know in the comment section if you need any other help regarding this. Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP 5.1 About the Project Sewage treatment is the process of removal of contaminants and organic matters from wastewa ter primarily from household sewage. Physical, chemical and biological processes are used for the treatment of the wastewater. sewerage via pipelines from of Rourkela and treat them in the STP at The project aims to collect the different towns Balughat. As per the project, the whole townships are divided into two parts i.e, East & West So there will be 2 STP to be constructed named EAST STP & WEST STP. The West STP will have the capacity of treating sewerage of about 40 MLD and that of East STP about 8 ML be collected from the domestic houses through Pipe lines. There will be total 230 km of Pipeline network to be constructed out of which the West STP constitutes of about 185 km and EEast STP of about 45 km. D. After the screening process, the wastewater will go to the first chamber of the to second third and fourth chamber res pectively As the water moves from one chamber to other sequencially, the methode is called Sequencing batch reactor To bubble oxygen through the wastewater, there will be a set of big air blowers. After axidation of the organic matter, they will settle down and the treated effluent will be collected. The settled down organic matters will be further thickened and can be used as fertilizer.
