Quint Studer is a remarkable visionary, philanthropist and an entrepreneur who had a visionary approach to transforming delivery of healthcare and its impact on patients and the community as a whole. Quint Studer, who was the COO of Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago and was responsible for its stellar turnaround from being in a financial crunch to a great level of patient satisfaction of around 73 percent and improved financial performance. Post this turnaround many organizations which focused on healthcare became interested in understanding the strategies and techniques involved. Among them was Baptist Hospital from Florida and they were so impressed by his work that they offered to hire him as part of their team.
Within a year’s time, he was appointed as the President at the Baptist hospital and there also he delivered remarkably on improving patient satisfaction and also reduced employee turnover considerably. He also formed a consulting company called Studer Group which focused on healthcare consulting and helped clients achieve 100% patient satisfaction and remarkable financial results.
