Branding is an important component of marketing a product and/or service. Identify a well-known public figure and discuss his or her brand. How has this individual enhanced this brand? How has he or she damaged it? Based on your understanding of the chapter readings, how would you explain the impact of having a negative or positive brand image?
You must demonstrate not only that you understand the subject matter but also that you can apply what you have learned, analyze it, integrate it with knowledge you already have, and evaluate it critically.
Branding plays a crucial role for the development of the product or service. Now a days brand promotions were done by famous public figures that which makes people to buy the product. I had identified a shampoo brand which was being promoted by the famous actress. That advertisement explains in detail about the benefits that who uses that shampoo. According to my point of view, that actress does not damaged the product because it was the new product to the market and any person does not have awareness about the product. She just encouraged the people to buy that product I think that without her contribution any person does not know about that product whether it was introduced in the market.
Brand image will be decided by the way of product being advertised. If the company projected their products in the bad manner automatically product does not reach the people. There will be many impacts on negative and positive brand image. If the brand image was negative people will not show interest to buy that product whether the product was released from the big brand, if sales was not being carried out company leads to loss and some times this loss leads to closing of the company. If the brand image was positive sales will be increased, company had many profits and many of the products will be released from that brand.
I have learned that product negative and positive brand image will be depends only on the promotions so that which choosing the way to promote the product critical thinking must be required and suggestions should be taken from the experts. While choosing the public figures for the promotion of the brand analysis should be carried out whether that actor or actress will give the best results for their brand promotion. Each and every aspect should be analysed while carrying out the brand promotions. According to my knowledge a person who have more following and craze in the public will suit for the brand promotion because people will show gratitude towards them and they show interest to buy our product.
