  • Coordinates of L.P. (N, E) = (1000, 1000)

  1. Area by the trapezoidal rule:

Trapezoidal Rule: - According to this rule, area of an irregular shape can be determined. Shape is divided into strips of equal width and offset of edges of strips is measured. Then area can be calculated by below formula:

Where,

A = Area of shape

d = Width of Strip

F = offset of first edge

L = offset of Last edge

M = Sum of offsets of middle edges

Area of 130 m length divided in equal spaces by trapezoidal rule,

Area of 4.58 m length (134.58–130=4.58) triangular shape,

Total area of the lot = 2623.4+7.33 = 2630.73 m2
