Discuss in your own words what is meant by client/server architecture
Client/server architecture is a database management architecture where the server acts as the producer and the client as a consumer. The server contains and provides the requested data to the client side on demand. These requested services can be table, file and other information.
Client/server architecture works when the client computer sends a resource or data request to the server over the database system, which is then processed and delivered to the client side. A server can manage several clients simultaneously, but one client can be connected to multiple servers at the same time, each providing a different set of services.
Hope this helps.
