Du - Curent year a total of 15 new cases were diagnosed. 4.) What is the crude incidence ate per 100,000 for the current year if nobody has died? 5.) What is the crude Prevalence per 10,000 for the current year, if nobody has died?

total population (P) = 350000

total number of new cases diagnosed in the given period (I) = 15

number of cases of illness observed to exist during the given period ( C) = 50+15 = 65

a). crude incidence rate for the current year per 100000 be:-

$=\frac{I}{P}*100000$

$=\frac{15}{350000}*100000$

$=4.2857$ per 100000 people.

b). crude prevalence rate for the current year per 10000 be:-

$=\frac{C}{P}*10000$

$=\frac{65}{350000}*10000$

$=1.8571$ per 10000 people.

c). attack rate be:-

= (Number of new cases of disease during specified time interval /  Population at start of time interval or Population exposed to the risk of the disease)*100

$=\frac{15}{350000}*100$

$=4.2857*10^{-3}$
