Since most of the student are from abroad so i would like to give Example on British Stamp Act-1765 which will be workable for all,

In 1765 the British Parliament passed an Act for granting and applying Certain Stamp Duties in the British Colonies and Plantations in America, Parliament has imposed taxes through the use of embossed revenue stamp.

The embossed revenue stamp could be impressed upon ordinary paper; however, it was not possible to impress the stamp on vellum. for document prepared on vellum, the revenue stamp was impressed upon either beige or dark blue paper, which had been glued and stapled to the vellum. The back of the staple was covered with a cypher bearing the Coat of Arms of George III

The Example is one of the forty two copies known, and one of only eleven on blue grey paper. The remaining copies are on blue, beige or white Paper.

and the subsequent Boston Tea Party, arose from two issues confronting the British empire in 1775.

Quartering Act

The Quartering Act 1765 was passed on March 24, 1765

In new York City, 1500 British troops were arrived in 1766

New York Provincial Assembly refused to comply with the 1765 Quartering Act and failed to supply billeting for the troops.

The British troops had to remain on their ships.

Intolerable Act

After the Boston Tea Party, the British adopted a divide-and-conquer strategy that sought to isolate trouble making Boston from the other colonies, which leaders in parliament believed were merely tagging, along with Boston's radicals.
