The purpose of this project is to practice the concepts studied in this course You will be developing a PROPOSED upgrade to your computer system components (i.e. RAM; hard drive; video card) based on the results of various analysis tools that we studied during the semester To get started, you will use the Microsoft System ati (MSINFO32). To create a summary of your system hardware, installed software and device drivers as described below Using your own desktop or laptop, please generate a MSINFO32 Report 1) Please press Windows Key the letter R on your keyboard to open the Run command window 2) Type msinfo32 in the Open field and left-click OK 3) While viewing the Microsoft System Information summary, go to File then choose Save (Please do not use Export) 4) Save your MSINFO32 report as msinfo32.info on your desktop to easily locate it after. It can take up to a minute to generate a report. Browse through the different levels on information in this window (opening+ sign) and answer the following questions What OS are you using? Computer System Manufacturer Computer System Model: Operating System Type (32 or 64 bit) CPU (processor) Type What is your CPU speed? And how many cores? What is your BIOS manufacturer and version? BIOS mode (UEFI or Legacy Type BIOS) How much RAM? otal physical memory How many disk drives this system has?
