Answer #1

MRP is manufacturing resource planning.

JIT is just in time.

These are two different forms of materials planning and control well in manufacturing processes. Both methods are having unite goal which is manufacturing of quality products in time with low cost as per customer requirements.

MRP is concerned with the ordering raw materials and planning the resources based on sales forecast. If the sales are more then more resources are allocated to meet the more production out put. Where as if the sales are less then resources allocation also less to decrease the production.

MRP having more forecasting ideas to develop more worthy products as per the requirements in a prior manner by forecasting the ideas and latest trends and technologies that the people are like.

It is very lengthy and time taking process so it requires lot of planning and scheduled programming with a detailed functioning authorities in various levels with a proper hierachial planning.

But in the case of JIT all these kind of analysis is not yet done but it gives instantly good results but won't sustaining the production. It requires just spontaneous decision making system that's the reason the roper hierachial planning is not followed at here.
