What are some things you can try to recrystallize a compound if your initial recrystallization effort fails?
If the crystallization is failed initially then, one can try seeding method in which a tiny crystal of the sample is suspended in the solution due to which crystal formation can be initiated. Other way is one can use glass rod to scratch the walls of the test tube or boiling tube in which solution is present. By scratching, the rough surface is created and if crystallization would have to happen, it will occur quickly. Last, one can try putting the hot solutions of crude in ice bath. If the crystallization would have to take time then by putting in ice would cool the solution quickly and crystal would appear although this is not preferred as it results in poor quality of crystal.

When preparing for an important synthesis you attempt to recrystallize a starting material from benzene. You start off by dissolving 4g of material in 100 mL of boiling benzene. Thereafter filtering off some insoluble impurities, you allow the solution to cool to room temperature. You then cover the flask, and put it in the freezer for a couple hours. When you return, you expect to find beautiful needle-like crystals, but instead you instead find a clear solution with no precipitate....
What are some things that you can do to improve your cultural awareness and competency? Have you had any experiences that demonstrate how you used patient-centered techniques in the clinical setting?
During the total synthesis, you attempt to purify your target product by recrystallization using ethanol. You gently heat the solution until all of your crude product has dissolved. You try scratching the bottom of your flask, but that is also unsuccessful. What should you do to recover your target product so you can attempt the recrystallization again?
7) a. During the recrystallization procedure, if crystals do not form upon cooling to 0 o C, give two methods that could be implemented to induce crystallization without changing the volume of the solution. b. If neither of these methods (which you gave in your answer to 7a) were successful, what steps would you take in order to recrystallize the desired compound?
please answer all parts I am trying to check my

Recrystallization of Acetanilide Recrystallization is an important method used by chemists to purify solid compounds. When a chemist conducts a chemical reaction as shown in Scheme 1, it will rarely go to 100% completion, and will frequently produce byproducts. These byproducts and some of the unreacted starting materials will be present in the end as impurities. Chemists need ways to remove these unwanted impurities so they can isolate their...
What things can a researcher do to try to increase the magnitude of the d effect size? Suppose that you can increase the d effect size while holding group sizes n1 and n2 constant. How will an increase in d influence the magnitude of t ?
How important are good relationships in your organization? What are some things that help build those relationships? What big things can destroy those relationships?
Answer for question 10?
You obtain 1.8 g of an impure solid. You know that the sample contains 1.6 g of your desired compound. What is the maximum mass of your desired compound that you could recover from a recrystallization using 100 mL of Solvent A according to the below solubility table? Based on the solubility table shown in problem 9, what is the minimum volume (in mL) of solvent that would be needed to recrystallize 7.23 g of the...
Windows 2016 Server supports the use of Hyper-V. Hyper-V is a role you can install to create what are known as virtual machines or VM’s. What do you think are some interesting kinds of things a VM can do to allow you to expand the functionality of your network? Be as detailed in your response as you can. At the same time, what are some useful ways you can see that VMs could be used to reduce the cost of...
