Answer #1

GIVEN:

Sample size (n)=6

Sample mean (M)=8

TO FIND:

\sum X=?

FORMULA USED:

The formula for mean is given by,

M=(\sum X)/n

CALCULATION:

Consider M=(\sum X)/n

  \Rightarrow \sum X=M*n

  =8*6

\Rightarrow \sum X=48

Thus the value of \sum X is 48.
