Answer #1

According to the Hess's law : For a chemical reaction , the net heat change (∆H ) will be same same weather the reaction occurs in one step or several steps .

Let a reaction when occurs in one step

A -----> C ∆H = ∆H1

But when the same reaction occurs in two steps

A -------> B ∆H = ∆H2

B ------> C ∆H = ∆H3

Then according to the Hess's law

∆H1 = ∆H2 + ∆H3

We have to find CH4(%) +2012 > CH, Cl (4) +21ccy) -- 1° from given data CH469) + ck (Y) = CH3 (J) +HULCI) OH= -98.3kJ CH, C9houbone Vierah CH404) +2Cl (9) | *H*=-98-3K) JOH° = -202 K3 CH, celu) + Hel+ELAH | 24°= -10 467) CH, Cl2 CY) + 2 Hely)
