1) Amount of be injsample to be injectede is less compared packed column.
2) Resolution power is more with caplillary columns over packed ones.
Due to this merged peaks can be separated very well.
3) Low analysis time of capillary columns due fast separation of analytes into individual components.
Unknown concentration of an analyte is determined by two standardisation methods in GC. a) Internal standarisation method and b) External standardisation method.
In internal standarisation method a known amount of anylte is added to the unknown sample under similar analytical conditions. Then based on the known analyte signal in GC the unknown concentration will be measured. Under this analytical conditions if the internal standard is reacted with the unknown sample and leads to error in the final result. This problem can be eliminated by external standardisation method. In this method a standard curve is plotted by taking known concentrations of external standard. From this plot we can find out the unknown concentration.
Give two advantages of capillary GC columns over packed GC columns. When do you think that...
[30 Marks] Q 1(b) When comparing column performance between a capillary and a packed GC column, one is struck by how similar the plate height is on the two columns. And yet as shown in Table 1, we see that we get almost 10x better resolution on the capillary column Discuss why this difference in resolution arises, in terms of the van Deemter equation Tabie 1 Comparison of packed and wall coated open tubuiar column performance Open Tubular Packed 0.73...
Consider the following exercises: 1. What are the advantages of computing limit algebraically over using tables of values or graphs? 2. Give an example of a polynomial or rational function and describe an algebraic method for finding limits for the polynomial or rational function. ( X ) by computing f (a), what should you do if the result is a fraction with 3.When trying to compute lim r-+a denominator zero? 2) . Explain when each method would be used and...
To what extent do you think that complementing the quantitative analysis of financial ratios with qualitative analysis would make the interpretation more worthwhile? If you agree, what are the qualitative measures that can be used ?
What do you think are some advantages for using the ABC method versus a single plant-wide rate or multiple departmental overhead rates. Why would an activity-based costing (ABC) system appeal to some companies and not all companies. Provide at least 3 examples of companies you think would and wouldn't want to use the ABC method.

What advantages do large chains have over independents when it come to training? If you were advocating training in an independent operation, how you would counter the turnover argument from independent food service operators that they do not have enough time or there is too much turnover to make training worthwhile?
As an I/O psychologist, what staffing method or model do you think would be used most often? When might you choose one method over another?
choose two types of resarch methods. describe each choice. tell us when you will use your method method of choice, (why/under what circonstances. Describe one study for each choice. For example if you are doing a quantitative study this is what you will do...) Some types of research are secondary analysis, qualitative research , Experimental research, survey research and about Evaluation research.
Do you think a SWOT analysis is used to help a medical practice/hospital/long-term care facility analyze the external environment?
