B. Machining is a manufacturing process in which material is removed in form of chips.

Everything we observe around us like moving automobiles, large metal structures, bridges, poles etc are made up by use of Various machining processes.

For all metal industries machining is compulsory operation in it's work domain. Hence Machining processes have very important role in infrastructural developments. Hence we can see machining is very important technologically as well as commercially.

C) cutting operation depends on following parameters directly or indirectly.

1) geometry of tool (various cutting angles and nose radius)

2) cutting velocity, feed rate and depth of cut

2) hardness of Tool

3.) Lubrications conditions etc
