Legislation and common law both are important source of laws to govern the people and society in the proper way. Legislation is the set of laws, rules and regulation that which was given by the government for every citizen in the society. Every individual should follow the law with discipline and if any individual not following these law with discipline legislation have no value. Common is the set of laws that which was based on the decisions of the court. Common law will be followed by the courts to give the judgments to the cases that which was not mentioned in the legislation. These laws can be applied on the future cases that which deal the same subject of case.

According to my point of view legislation or statutes law was important because without legislation country cannot run properly. Legislation paid a path to our nation with disciplined rules and regulation. It was more important because it sets the society with the standard norms for all the levels of government that which helps to serve for many purposes. It regulates all the activities and also determine which was important and which was not important activity.
