Which violate Hund's rule?
It is definitely the one I checked off, as well as at least 2 others.

According to the Pauli's exclusion principle, no two electrons
in the same energy level can have the same quantum numbers. So, the
two electrons in a box can't have the same spin (i.e., can't have
two arrows in a box in the same direction).
But, in the 1st option and the 6th (last) option, there is a box
where, there are two arrows directed in the same direction.
So, the 1st option and the 6th option violate Hund's rule.

24. Which of the following statements are correct? i) Hund's Rule states orbitals must be filled with electrons in order of lowest to highest energy. 11) The Aufbau Principle states that if electrons occupy degenerate orbitals, they must be half filled first. ill) The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle states that the position and velocity of an electron cannot be determined simultaneously. iv) The ultraviolet catastrophe was that as the temperature of a blackbody increased, it would emit an infinite amount of...
ample Test D Which of the following correctly summarizes the Hund's Rule? Matter can neither be created nor destroyed. It only changes form during chemical reactions. O It is fundamentally impossible to know both the location and velocity of an electron at the same time. O The ground state or lowest energy state of an atom is the one that contains the maximum number of unpaired electrons O Each electron within an atom will have its own unique set of...
X 2. For the following electronic configurations use Hund's rule to determine the ground free ion state. [3x3=9] * a) 1P, 3P, 3F, 'G b) 3P, 5D, 3H, 41, 4G c) 65, 4P, 4G, 21 * 3a. What is the coordination number of the Fe atom in K3[Fe(C204)3]? [2] 3b. What is the coordination number of the Au atom ink[Au(CN)2(SCN)2]? [2] * 3c. Among the following 3d transition metal ions which one is kinetically inert? Cr2+, C03+, Co2+, Fe3+ [2]
Two cards will be dealt off the top of a well-shuffled deck. you have a choice: i> to win $1 if at least one of the two cards is a queen. ii. to win $1 if the first is a queen. which option is better? or are they equivalent? Explain.
Please do it correctly and do all parts as well. i'll
definitely give you good feedback
An automobile moves on a circular track of radius 0.95 km. It starts from rest from the point (x, y)(0.95 km, 0 km) and moves counterclockwise with a steady tangential acceleration such that it returns to the starting point with a speed of 30 m/s after one lap. (The origin of the Cartesian coordinate system is at the center of the circular track.) What...

Hi, if you can answer all of the following
questions, I will definitely thumbs up!
1.
For the above picture, E is incorrect (the double bond w/ NH).
Please select the correct option and also write the rest of the
synthesis with reagents.
2.
I put just Fe, HCl and it marked it wrong. I'm not sure if Fe,
HCl is wrong or if there is just another answer I also need to
select. Please select which reagent/reagents are correct!...
produced by an injection-molding operation are checked for conformance to specifications. Each tool contains 14 cavities in which parts are produced, and these parts fell into a conveyor when the press opens. An inspector chooses 1 part(s) that do not conform to specifications. from among the 14 at random. Two cavities are affected by a temperature malfunction that results in parts (b) What is the probability that i the inspector finds at least one nonconforming part?

Help, I have checked many similar questions to this one and all the ones with the same numbers and wording have different answers. The ones with different answers are done differently. I am very confused. Consider an intrinsic Si sample at room temperature (300K). (a) The probability of a state being occupied at 0.02 eV above the conduction band edge. (b) The probability of a state being empty at 0.05 eV below the valence band edge? (c) The probability of...
