7. Here , there are two samples , each having a sample mean and a sample sd .

We want to test if the population mean has increased or not . As there are no population sd given , the most appropriate test for the given situation is a two sample t test .

8. Here we want to test if there is any positive relation between the high school GPA and college score or not .

So ,  regression test would be perfect for this case .
