Answer #1

The best way to enter the south east is by making an Alliance or entering into Joint Venture with an established retailing company of South East. For Example, we could form an alliance with Reliance Industries Limited. The Retail arm of Reliance is one of the internationally recognized brand that has partnership with various high end brands such as Brook Brothers, Steve Madden, SuperDry, Kenneth Cole, Marks and Spencers etc..

The major benefit of creating an alliance or joint venture will be mitigation of risks associated with entering new markets. The risks and costs associated with entering foreign market will be shared and we will benefit from the established distribution channels of our partner. Joint Ventures helps in enabling growth without looking for outside investors and borrwing loans. To market the product, partners' customer database could be used and their existing customers will also help in sales.
