QUESTION 16 Write and submit the java source for the following class specification: The name of the class is Question_16 Class Question_16 has 3 instance variables: name of type String, age of type int and height of type double. Class Question_16 has the following methods:
print - outputs the data values stored in the instance variables with the appropriate label
setName - method to set the name
setAge - method to set the age
setHeight - method to set the height
getName - value-returning method to return the name
getAge - value-returning method to return the age
getHeight - value-returning method to return the height
toString - crates a String with labels and the data values stored in the instance variables.
default constructor - initializes name to the empty string, initializes age and height to 0.
constructor with parameters - sets the values of the instance variables name, age and height to the values provided by the parameters.
public class Question_16 {
private String name;
private int age;
private double height;
public Question_16() {
name = "";
age = 0;
height = 0;
}

Language: C++
Create an abstract base class person.
The person class must be an abstract base class where the following functions are abstracted (to be implemented in Salesman and Warehouse): • set Position • get Position • get TotalSalary .printDetails The person class shall store the following data as either private or protected (i.e., not public; need to be accessible to the derived classes): . a person's name: std::string . a person's age: int . a person's height: float The...
****Here is the assignment **** Purpose: To write an Object-Oriented application that creates a Java class with several instance variables, a constructor to initialize the instance variables, several methods to access and update the instance variables’ values, along with other methods to perform calculations. Also, write a test class that instantiates the first class and tests the class’s constructor and methods. Details: Create a class called Rectangle containing the following: Two instance variables, An instance variable of type double used...
Java file Name Dog Classes and Methods Create a constructor that incorporates the type, breed, and name variables (do not include topTrick). Note: The type refers to what the breed typically does; for example, a corgi would be a “cattle herding dog.” A Shiba Inu would be a “hunting dog.” Create the setTopTrick() mutator method Dog is parent class Corgi and Driver are subclasses Complete the Corgi class: Using the UML Class diagram, declare the instance variables. Create the two...
Create a UML diagram to help design the class described in exercise 3 below. Do this exercise before you attempt to code the solution. Think about what instance variables will be required to describe a Baby class object; should they be private or public? Determine what class methods are required; should they be private or public? Write Java code for a Baby class. A Baby has a name of type String and an age of type integer. Supply two constructors:...
Create an abstract class “Appointment” that represents an event on a calendar. The “Appointment” class will have four instance variables: • An instance variable called “year” which will be of type int • An instance variable called “month” which will be of type int • An instance variable called “day” which will be of type int • An instance variable called “description” which will be of type String The “Appointment” class must also implement the following methods: • A getter...
Question 1 1 pts Which of the following is not a valid class name in Java? O MyClass MyClass1 My_Class MyClass# Question 2 1 pts Which of the following statements is False about instance variables and methods? Instance variables are usually defined with private access modifier. Instance variables are defined inside instance methods. Instance methods are invoked on an object of the class that contains the methods. A class can have more than one instance variables and methods. Question 3...

In Java, Write a class encapsulating a restaurant,which inherits from Store. A restaurant has the following additional attributes: how many people are served every year and the average price per person. code the constructor, accessors, mutators, toString and equals method of the new subclass; also code a method returning the average taxes per year. You also need to include a client class to test your code for both the parent class and the subclass. Code for Store below(Super class aka...
In a project named 'DogApplication', create a class called 'Dog' 1. declare two instance variables in 'Dog' : name (String type) age (int type) 2. declare the constructor for the 'Dog' class that takes two input parameters and uses these input parameters to initialize the instance variables 3. create another class called 'Driver' and inside the main method, declare two variables of type 'Dog' and call them 'myDog' and 'yourDog', then assign two variables to two instance of 'Dog' with...
create a java class with the name Brick class: For this part of the assignment, you will create a class that allows you to specify a colored brick that is capable of drawing itself given a specified Graphics object. Note that this is a regular Java class and does not extend the JApplet class. Your class should a constructor with the following signature: Identifier: Brick(int xPosition, int yPosition, int width, int height, Color color) Parameters: xPosition – an int representing...
