Recently it has been happened that salary confidential report was made available to some of the employee in the organization and it leaked the salary information. The major thing come out of it is that the salary of marketing team is lower than the salary of engineering team. So marketing team has concerns over the higher pay outs for engineering team.

We have analyzed the case and come out with below findings as

• Engineering employees has higher pay because they have higher number of experience as compared to the marketing employees.
• Marketing employee which are having similar year of experience and similar qualification, has comparative salary, no much difference. Engineering employee is slightly higher, which is negligible.
• Some of the engineering employee have much high salary because of their high initial salary while recruitment at our organization.
• Some of the marketing team has lower salary because they had very low starting salary as they initial companies are low paying companies.
