bit_time = 1 / baud_rate

At 9600, bit time is 104.166666666666 microseconds.
At 19200, bit time is 52.083333333333 microseconds.

For 8E2 signalling there are 12bits(1 start bit 8 data bits and 2 stop bits and 1 parity bits ).so 12x 52.0833= 624.9996 microseconds.

Therefore for our problem, the data to be transmitted in 15 mins is

(15 x 60) ÷ 624.9996 microseconds = 1440kbps
