the floors in the building are 0 to 59 (0 : ground floor)

for atleast 1 min lift has to be on atleast k th floor

(k-0)*3 sec= 1 minute

3*k sec = 60 sec

k = 20

so, if left is on floor 20 to 59 it will take atleast 1 min

no. of floors in 20 to 59 = 40 floors

P(atleast 1 min) = (no. of floors in 20 to 59)/(total floors)

= 40/60 = 2/3 = 0.6667

P(atleast 1 min) = 0.6667
