Answer #1

Ans 1) According to OSHA, incidence rate (IR) = Recordable cases x 200000 /number of labor x work time

Assume work rate as 8 hrs per day, then work time = 365 x 8 = 2920

=> IR = 11 x 200000 / (75 x 2920)

= 10.04

Ans 2) According to OSHA table 12-2, for a power line between 50 kV - 345 kV , clearance distance required is 10 ft. So, for power line of 210 kV , clearance distance is 10 ft

Ans 3) According to OSHA maximum limit of sound exposure without hearing protection if exposure is 6 hrs/day is 92 decibel
