Ans 2 a) the slope of delta G versus temperature graph suggests the change in entropy that is delta S. The slope is -80 j/k which indicates negative entropy change.

Entropy is degree randomness or disorderedness of a system. The negative entropy change is indicative of less disorderedness or decrease in volume of products.

b) delta H value for this reaction will be positive as energy is absorbed by the chlorine molecule to break the bond and to convert it into 2 chlorine atoms

The entropy change is also positive because 2 atoms are more disordered and random than a single molecule
