Answer #1

the <!DOCTYPE> declaration must be the very first thing in your HTML document. It's not a html tag but it tells the browser what type of documert you are writing.

Next <html> </html> tags

the html tag tells the browser the following is a html page defeination. It represents the root tag in html page. All other elements are contained in <html> tag.

Next <body> </body> tags.

This tag represents the actual body of the html document. It contains all the contents of the html document like text, hyperlinks, images etc.,

Next is <h1> <h2> and <h3>:

these are headng tags. there are 6 heading tags <h1> to <h6>.

<h1> defines the most important heading. <h6> is the least important heading.

Next <p> tag:

this is a paragraph tag. Browser automatically adds some space before and after the <p> tag.

Next is <img> tag:

This tag is to add some image to your html document. It has two attributes : 1. src and 2. alt

src is to mention the source image and alt is to mention the message text if image can't be loaded while loading html page.

each html tag has a closing tag with / before the tag name like </html> for <html> tag etc.,

It works for HTML 5 even if you don't close the tag.

But it's a good practise to close every tag. So that it won't lead to undesirable output.
