Is a person like a chariot? (Is this a good analogy?) (
(Answer) This is a fairly good analogy if a journey is viewed as an allegory for “life.” Then the journey is life, the chariot that travels on the journey is a person. Just like a person lets in experiences, lessons and people into their lives, so does a chariot let in and contain its passengers. Also, if a chariot lets out their passengers, so must a person let go of their past in order to move to the next stage of life or the journey.
Although the passengers come and go, the chariot remains what it always was and yet changes and wears out with time. Therefore, in a way, a person might be compared to a chariot.
