The whole language approach may be useful for children to study at a young level and alos can select and apply the material they read to situations in real life with a particular focus on grammar, decoding, phonetics etc. The method of learning language is creative and interesting and would therefore be useful. It also has different disadvantages, however, as in the case of students who can devise if they do not know a specific word that can or could not be corrected for their weaknesses.
