  1. Competitor information: The company needs to understand and establish the direct and competitors that are present at the marketplace, the features they offer and their price, promotion and distribution strategies
  2. Company’s internal resources. The company will have to consider its internal resources like materials , human resource that it can use for supporting the launch and marketing of this new product
  3. Macro level analysis: The Company also needs to establish the impacts of the relevant macro economic factors like economic conditions and social trends that can affect the launch and success of its product at the marketplace. For example a good economic situation will support the launch while bad economic situation may hamper it.
