Risk society refers to the manner in which modern societies organize themselves in response to risks. There are plenty of risks that a modern society faces such as, environmental, social, structural, political and economic. It’s the preparedness and handling of these issues that would make a society more resilient and powerful. Those that fail to address or solve these risks would perish.
