The human capital is the main determinant of labor productivity. Human capital is the accumulated knowledge (from education and experience), skills , and expertise possessed by the average economic worker. Generally the higher the average level of education in an economy, the higher the human resources produced and the higher the productivity of labour.
The second driving factor for labor efficiency is technological transition. Technological development is a mixture of invention — knowledge advances — and advancement that brings the advance into use in a new product or service. In 1947 for instance, the transistor was invented. It helped us to miniaturize the footprint of electronic devices and use less power than the preceding tube technology. Since then, advances have created smaller and better transistors that are omnipresent in such varied items as smartphones , computers, and escalators. The transistor technology has allowed staff with smaller devices to be anywhere.

1.Discuss two reasons why some antibiotics show greater evidence of bacterial resistance than others. 2.It is becoming more and more common to find antibiotic-resistant bacteria outside of medical facilities, in the community. Still drug-resistant bacteria (that infect hospital patients) are rarely found outside of the hospital environment. Explain this paradox: why do resistant bacteria not multiply & spread outside hospitals, replacing sensitive bacteria in the community at large?
Lab Exercise 14 4. Lane 4, the undigested plasmid, may contain more than one band. Discuss some possi reasons why there would be more than one hand if no restriction enzymes were used 5. Why do you think the migration distance and size estimates are different for fragments 1 and 2 compared to the supercoiled DNA in lane 4? Consider the factors that affect DNA migration, as well as the conformation of the DNA (i.c., linear or circular). Based on...
1. Why regulate the economy at all? Administrative agencies have the power to create regulations, to investigate businesses for compliance, and to enforce statutory and administrative law. (3) Body composition is a very broad term as...
