IKEA's organizational design contains elements that are unique and highly effective in its structure.
1. Its main motto is to provide quality products to its customers at a very affordable price. It takes great care in its customers, its image and the environment in which it survives.
2. The next element of its organizational design is the functioning operations that are brought down to department levels. Each department is set in such an effective manner that is different on its product lines and operations within the organization.
3. Strategy at various levels is one among its best designs. Understanding the need of the day it produces majority of its products from sustainable elements. This move has got them lots of suppliers from many countries.
4. It provides low cost products maintaining high levels of quality.
5. Innovation is at it's best in IKEA. They find best possible way to offer products to its customers at affordable prices. For this they do various research activities to find the need of the customers .
6. The culture of IKEA is so strong that they focus more on customer satisfaction as its ultimate.
