a)Can you pass the second row of the array ages to function f1? If your answer is yes, provide the function call. If your answer is no, explain why not.

b)Can you pass the second column of the array ages to function f1? If your answer is yes, provide the function call. If your answer is no, explain why not.

a) Yes, we can  pass the second row of the array ages to function f1. The required function call will be :

f1(ages[1]);

b) No, we can't pass the second column of the array ages to function f1. We will get an error if we use f1(ages[1][1]); this statement.

Here, ages is a 2D array :  ages[ row number] [ column number ] . But in the function declaration void f1(double values[ ]); we are using 1 D array. Thus, it throws the error if we try to pass the column of the array. We need to use void f1(double values[ ][ ]) instead of void f1(double values[ ]) if we want to pass the second column of the array ages to function f1.
