From given information, random sample of 484 male voters say n1 and 577 women voters say n2,

and Mr. Singleton as taken 164 men say x1 and 253 women say x2,

that x1=164, n1=484 and x2=253, n2=577

the proportion of men is \widehat{p1} = x1/n1 = 164/484= 0.338843,

and proportion of women is \widehat{p2} = x2/n2=253/577=0.438475

and differance is \widehat{p1}-\widehat{p2} = -0.09963,

The 98% conficance for difference is (-0.169,-0.0302)

And marginal Error (E) is = \pm 0.0694 .
