The paper 'Capitalism, Imperialism and Patriarchy' by Linda Lim : highlights the state of working women in multinational factories (specially in developing countries). It states how women employment is a multi dimensional dillemma aspects - of liberation, & or exploitation (at workplace)

1] Impact of Patriarchy on Female Labour Market :

• Patriarchy implies supremacy of men, subordination of women, in socio - economic & cultural etc aspects. This patriarchy forms the basis of 'sexual division of labor', assigns men as bread earners & women as home care takers.
• So, women are not given enough importance & incentive to learn employable skills, & are hence perceieved to be naturally less productive. Also, women prime important task  considered as home care taking, make it a hidrance in path of their skills & professional development.
• All these factors lead to women being in a situation of comparative disadvantage (relative to men), in labour market.
